I love doing in home sessions. There is just something about being in your own home, being yourself, not looking up at the camera while your family is placed on a backdrop instructed to say cheese. Lifestyle sessions are so real – it’s great to be able to look back and think ” oh look how little he was and that’s when we lived in that house……….” Memories. Not “remember how he had a meltdown at JC Pennies and I just wanted to get out of there?!?!” Nothing against the portrait studios – I have photos of my son from the portrait studios when he was little that I ADORE! But he was also in a good mood those couple days 🙂
