Aaron and Katie

Get ready – this is a long one! I’ve had soooo many great weddings this year! I wish I had time to blog allllll my favs from each wedding! Katie (the lovely bride) just so happens to be a small town Iowa girl like myself! Her mom was my crafty and fun home ec teacher in high school – you know, the fun class where you got to cook food, sew, bring home fake babies to take care of – she taught us the life skills!!! 🙂 So I was super excited when they reached out to see if I was open to coming back to Iowa for the wedding. I knew it was going to be amazing. And it was!! The day was sunny and happy. Katie and Aaron met during Katie’s senior year at Winona State University in MN. They started dating but then Katie had to take time to finish her doctorate degree at Duke. So then on one starry evening Aaron decided he couldn’t live without her and that he needed it to be forever and she said yes.
