Chelsey and Peter’s Greece Wedding

I don’t even know where to begin……..My husband and I will be celebrating our 15 year anniversary in a couple of months so we started to discuss big trips. Hoping we would book a wedding somewhere close (Hawaii/Mexico), you can guess my surprise when I got a facebook message from sweet Chelsey asking if I was open to traveling to GREECE to photograph a wedding. Now, who in the world is this Chelsey girl – it has to be a scam – LOL!! After we chatted on the phone, I knew it was real and that Peter and Chelsey were about to BLESS OUR SOCKS OFF! We were going to Greece. To photograph their special wedding day. Dream vacation/photographer’s dream location here we come.
Now – fast forward. We love this couple – Chelsey is so much freaking fun and Peter adores her. The wedding day was pretty much perfection with a little downpour tossed in there. While they didn’t get to celebrate out under the stars, Amirandes Grecotel provided a beautiful indoor space that you wouldn’t have even known was the backup plan. Chelsey left glitter wherever she went and the food was out of this world. I still think I need to eat greek salads now at least once a week…..all the feta.
We get to meet the best people on this photo journey of ours. Peter and Chelsey – Blaine and I can’t thank you enough for taking us along on this ride with you! We just got to see you again over the weekend and we absolutely can’t wait to photograph all the amazing things your future has in store for you (cough cough all the babies cough cough not yet but defiantly soon – lol cough cough). The best is yet to come!!!
